But, I still enjoy seeing filmmakers attempt the sci-fi alien bit, and buy I Am Number Four has genuine moments of tension and adolescent sweetness. His character John was extraordinary, because he has these incredible powers, which I would enjoy to have. The visuals kept the story line fluid and suspenseful.

It was really excellent, I didn't though it would be this great. I appreciate that I am most likely not the target audience (not being a 14-year-old girl), but to me it has all been completed before. John (Alex Pettfyer) is practically an alien. It starts out a little slow but then it actually picks up and typically a great movie. The idea of using Earth as a Sanctuary is rather cool. I liked how her character wasn't a blonde bimbo cheerleader, but she was a girl who pursued her passion in photography meaning she left her popularity behind and how she feels she doesn't truly fit anywhere because she is her own individual. The majorly disappointing aspect of the movie, which I locate in a lot of movies anyway, is it strays a good deal from the book.

But on the entire, it's a veryentertaining movie and it's worth your watch. When I saw the trailers for this film I was thinking "popcorn amusement with action sequences and absolutely nothing much more than that". I believe that "I am number ten.
