Roisin Murphy's new single is called Movie Star. So it was quite logical to shoot a movie influenced video, we guess. Finally it turned out to be a homage to a lot of B-movies, most notably the works of John Waters. Especially the Divine lookalike and the giant shrimp are allusions to Water's Multiple Maniacs where Divine is raped by a lobster [scene]. But to show you how colourful Roisin is, we have two more videos, both live performances ofthis very same song. Its so nice how different can one song be, even performed by the same artist.

Cruel Black Dove: Love Song [mp3 RCRD LBL]
Brooklyn based outfit Cruel Black Dove has been making its own brand of dark electronic rock since 2007. Before coming together, Cruel Black Dove was seen mostly as an "experiment" when it started as a recording project in Los Angeles. Cruel Black Dove blends varied inspiration -- a penchant for crisp production and heavy sounds, a love for dramatic vocals and intense performances, an art school obsession with the swagger and pomp of glam rock, and a passion for pounding acoustic drums mixed with electronic percussion. The result is a luxurious sound rich with dark energy and drive. Full Powers is Cruel Black Dove's self-released debut.
What's the origin of the Running Man fever? The Utah Saints will give you the answer right after the jump. Make sure to watch the music video till the very end and you can find more clues in the behind the scenes film. It's so hot, you can't touch this ;)
Hate them or love them, these boys look nice together. The Game teamed up with Travis for a new single. I guess the recording session was fun. Travis just posted a video on his myspace about the drum recording. As he says: - Here is a vid of some drumming I did for The Game on his song "Dope
Boys". Game is super talented, and Im glad I could help him out. Make
sure to check out his album L.A.X. August 26th. - Most of the comments are really negative, what do you think? Is this good?
BTW you can listen the song @ AudioPorn FM

Inner City: Good Life [mp3 Amazon]
Inner City is an American music group formed in Detroit in 1987. The group is comprised of producer and composer Kevin Saunderson and Chicago native Paris Grey. Kevin Saunderson is renowned as one of the Belleville Three (along with Juan Atkins and Derrick May), high school friends who later originated the Detroit Techno sound. Inner City topped dance charts in America and Britain 11 times, hit the UK Top 40 eight times and sold around 6 million records. The group is best known for their early dancefloor / pop music crossover tracks "Big Fun" (UK #8, US Dance #1) and "Good Life" (UK #4, US Dance #1). The music videos to these songs received significant airplay throughout the world. Later work introduced a hybrid of techno, jazz and swing beats with a more soulful sound in the vein of downtempo British groups like Soul II Soul and Massive Attack. The group recorded three albums for Virgin Records and one single for Columbia/SME Records. [Inner City Wiki]

Just in case if you haven't heard about it already we are here to remind you that Girl Talk is following the footsteps of Radiohead (and many other bands) and he is giving away his new album Feed the Animals for the price what you think its worth. Thank God, he learned from the Radiohead issue and his mp3's are not wacky low bitrate files. As he says...
The Rock-afire Explosion was an animatronic robot band that played in Showbiz Pizza Place restaurants from 1980 to 1991. The show was created and manufactured exclusively for Showbiz by Creative Engineering, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. In later years, the show was sold to other restaurants and entertainment centers. The characters in The Rock-afire Explosion were various animals ranging from a dog to a gorilla. They would perform medleys of classic rock, pop, and country music, as well as original compositions. Fatima Eiras is an underground icon from the “movida madrileña” in the nearly 90..s, she started to work in clubs as a go-go dancer and she finished working as the promoter of the two best clubs for house music in Madrid from 93 till 96 (Bocaccio, MidDay), after that period she started to work in the alternative magazine Neo2 while she formed different bands and did a lot of concerts in Madrid. Those were not electronic bands and she had the needing of doing electronic music, then in 2005, she met Kuriaki and at first they just thought to do just one song as a collaboration. But the chemistry and the results of that first song (Covenant) was so good that they both decide to create the band called Fatima meets Kuriaki.
Tinchy Stryder is the new Kanye West? It can be, whatever it means. One thing sure, he is a part time tee shirt salesman. Just check out his myspace, its all about his tee. But the song is catchy electropoprap, and...
...hey, he is wearing that tee again!
